Local Government Elections 2017
Local
Government elections are taking place on 4th May 2017, including
those for Town and Community Councils.
This will present the opportunity for those interested to become a
member of Mold Town Council. To stand as
a candidate for Mold there are certain eligibility criteria that must be met,

As an elected member you would represent the views of
local people and make decisions on a variety of issues concerning the
community.
Do you want to be part of a forward thinking Town Council
which is currently working on a number of projects? Such projects include:
Adoption of the Mold Town Plan
Working with the County Council to protect front
line services
The Bailey Hill Heritage Lottery Fund project
to improve this important public park
‘Wild about Mold’ project to create a network
of pedestrian-friendly routes rich in wildlife
Growing Mold as an events Town
Improving the visitor infrastructure
The Notice of Election for Flintshire will be
published on Friday 17 March 2017 and the nomination period will commence on
Monday 20 March until 4pm on Tuesday 4 April.
