Blooming Mold
The competition for talented gardeners ‘Blooming Mold’ is back by popular demand in 2017.
All residents, businesses and schools in the town can enter, with a chance of winning a first prize of £60 and second of £30 in each category.
The four categories this year are:
- Best basket or tub;
- Best kept front garden;
- Best natural wildlife-friendly garden;
Closing date is 3rd July and judging will take place between 10th and 14th July by prior appointment
- Best garden in a tray (for 16 year olds and under)
‘Best garden in a tray’ open to 16 years and under, who live or attend school in Mold. We would like to encourage as many children as possible to enter and the entries will be judged on Saturday 1st July on the Daniel Owen Square and we will be asking members of the public to vote for their favourite. Full details of the competition can be found in the explanatory notes attached.
We would also welcome entries from schools who would like to entry their school gardens.
